The INNOMEM project, launched in April 2020, is nearing completion. This H2020 initiative, with a €16M budget, has developed innovative membrane technologies now available commercially. Coordinated by TECNALIA, INNOMEM brings together 32 partners from academia, research centers, SMEs, and large companies.
INNOMEM aims to revolutionize membrane technology by offering an open innovation test bed with advanced membrane production pilots, characterization techniques, and non-technical services. The project created a Single Entry Point to provide access to facilities and services for developing membrane technologies in various industrial processes.
Case studies showcasing the effectiveness of these technologies in real-world industrial scenarios are available at www.innomem.eu/publications. These studies validate the feasibility and economic viability of membrane solutions.
Key results will be presented at the final INNOMEM workshop in Prague, a satellite event of Euromembrane 2024, on September 10 at 14:00 in the Prague Congress Centre – Chamber Hall.
